Partners for Next Year - Varsity

Several people have asked when I will be assigning partners for next year.

I will be waiting until after camp to assign partners because I strongly feel that the effort students put in at camp as well as improvements as a result of camp are critical to help me determine the best pairings possible.

I will again ask for some sort of student input, though it may be in a different form than last year.

If you are interested in having the largest say in the process, the best thing you can do is to work very hard at debate camp this summer AND IN CLASS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. Students who go "above and beyond" all summer and during the school year are most likely to have their opinions carry substantial weight with me.

You should not expect to necessarily continue debating with the same person you currently debate with, nor the person you debate with at camp (if it is another Lexington student. See me if you end up in a lab with other Lex debaters).
